Tonya is an American who began her modeling career in Los Angeles as a print and runway model. While attending The University Of San Diego, she was noticed by a scout who worked for a top Los Angeles Modeling and Talent Agency. A meeting was set up and she was immediately signed. Besides working in the US, Tonya also worked in Europe, Asia, and Mexico and appeared in several runway shows, catalogs, and editorial fashion magazines such as Vogue Mexico, Detour, Mademoiselle, Nordstrom, Macy's, Robinson's May, Rich's, Eivai, Hi Fashion, Moda, Gottchalks, Aussie Austine, Upscale, Bride Again, Bridal Guide, Monique Bridal, Nail Pro, Day Spa, Frederick's Of Hollywood, The Power Of Living Well Health, Affluence, and Parenting, just to name a few.
In addition to her modeling career, she also made several appearances on Jay Leno's The Tonight Show in which she showed off her comedic work in skits, made an appearance on BET Live With John Salley and performed in a comedic skit with Isaac Hayes, played the role of a doctor on Days Of Our Lives, made several appearances on Patti LaBelle's Out All Night, was a spokes model on The X Show as well as played the role of a bartender, and on Kirstie Alley's Veronica's Closet she played the role of a Brazilian model. Tonya had a lead role in the film The Making Of A Model which was filmed in Athens, Greece. She was also a Trophy presenter at The Soul Train Awards and made appearances on Good Day LA, Hard Copy, and the Donnie & Marie Show as a model. She did commercials for Rich's Department Store and starred alongside basketball star Dominique Wilkins in Country Fed Meat.
Tonya married international tennis star Ronald Agenor in 2002. They have 2 daughters, Sascha and Chloe. She took a break from the modeling world for several years to devote her time to being a full time wife and mom.
